Recidivist Racist Ratepayer-Alienator Rides Again

Andrew Judd, the anti-democratic ex-Mayor of New Plymouth is now plying his racist delusions on the ratepayers of Palmerston North.

Have a listen to the snippet below, from Radio NZ.

If that doesn’t work, try clicking here.

Judd is part of the crowd that wants subvert democracy by pushing racist representation and racist koha-kosts on to ratepayers.  In atypical logical fallacy fashion, Judd attacks the messenger, rather than deal with the message that ratepayers don’t want racist voting wards. Ironically, his only defence is to call his opposition racist.

It doesn’t get more perverse than that.

Keep in mind the comment made in an earlier post about representation equality:

They say its racist or unfair that a petition has to be had to allow for a new Maori ward, whereas no petition is needed to make a new (non-Maori) ward.

“Within our right as elected members we can create a rural ward which could have a couple of seats on it but the community cannot overturn that decision. However, when it comes to the legislation it only defines Maori wards as a decision that people can petition against.”

Don’t be Fooled!

The Cr. concerned (Aleisha Rutherford) is using a logical fallacy – comparing apples with blue vein cheese.

The comparative example given is a rural ward. Any such (rural or otherwise) voting ward created by the P. Nth council would be one of universal suffrage. I.e. Anyone within that ward’s boundaries could vote.

But a ‘Maori’ ward would not be of universal suffrage, because only those of a certain race within that ward’s boundaries could vote.

I.e. It would be a racist ward, voted into existence by the racist faction within the P. Nth Council.

But you can’t expect racists to see what is so logically simple, because they are all illogical, by their very nature.

  1. I believe that everyone should have the right to say what he or she thinks or believes in, but this guy just doesn’t give up! Why does the media continue to give him a platform to espouse his racist views?

  2. The irony is that Andrew Judd says he a recovering racist while all the while in reality he has become one. I literally despise the guy as he is setting up Maori to fail by creating separatist agendas which will ultimately in the long run work against Maori!

  3. Elected Councillors with Judd’s mindset are increasingly common.

Here in the Western Bay of Plenty 8 of the 11 Councillors voted with the Mayor to create Maori Wards. One of the 8 who last year was elected on a Resident and Ratepayer’s Association ticket (he was on the association’s executive) never attended an R&R meeting again after becoming a councilor and now he has criticised the association’s successful drive to get a ratepayers referendum on the issue as being guess what – racist.

  4. This system is wrong on all accounts. Maori are able to stand for council seats at each election. What reaction would we get in this country if we only allowed Pakeha to sit on council. This system is racist as only one race can take advantage of this offer. This system is doing more to divide us than to ensure we are equal. I have no problem with any race on council but to treat them as basket cases unable to stand for council makes a mockery of our current, everyone-is-equal society. It is very devious and does nothing to create racial harmony.
    Kia Kaha Tae Hunga

  5. The reason the media gives this idiot air and paper time is they are simply a trendy lefty group of idiots.

Why these idiots can’t grasp what the problem is just boggles the mind. The main problem with this idiocy of Maori wards is these people will be unelected people who can influence our daily life and we cannot get rid of unelected officials unless – like too many – they steal money from funds they handle and get caught.

Unelected people will negatively and continually make life unbearable for ratepayers no matter what race they are.

  6. Let’s run this racism thing to its logical conclusion, what? Some whites-only wards as well as the browns-only? (Just kidding)

  7. What very few people realise, is that ‘representatives’ on Maori wards are not elected – they are appointed by a very few elitist part-Maori who thrive on the National-created gravy train. The average part-Maori has no say in their appointment whatsoever.
